The Chevrolet Volt extended range electric vehicle will provide customers with a standard, eight-year/100,000-mile (161,000 km) warranty on its lithium-ion battery pack. It has a range of about 340 miles and is powered with electricity at all times. Cell design and chemistry for performance and efficiency.

European markets also have access to an extended range of Euro 5 and EEV engines with SCR technology. All inline engines are based on the latest platform introduced in 2007 with technologies to meet Euro 5 and Euro 6 emission requirements, as well as Euro 4 and Euro 3. The engines can operate on up to 100% biodiesel.
