The US House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform has issued a subpoena for “all documents relating to Toyota motor vehicle safety and Toyota’s handling of alleged motor vehicle defects and related litigation” in the possession of Dimitrios Biller, who served as the National Managing Counsel for Toyota’s American operation from 2003-2007.

According to the company, the Citaro FuelCELL Hybrid represents a step towards zero emission public transport and an important element in the development of the mobility solutions of the future. Compared with previous fuel cell buses it will consume much less hydrogen thanks to a hybrid drive with a sophisticated control unit.

At that point, we expect the aftermarket companies prices to have come down sufficiently so that their conversions will be attractive to owners of hundreds of thousands of hybrids already on the road. The easiest conversions are for 2004-2008 Prius (not 2001-2003 Prius) and the Ford Escape/Mercury Mariner Hybrid.
