A paper by a team from the University of Chicago and MIT suggests that technology-driven cost reductions in fossil fuels will lead to the continued use of fossil fuels—oil, gas, and coal—unless governments pass new taxes on carbon emissions. for oil, 24% for coal, and 20% for natural gas.

In terms of fuels, 44% of the estimated CO 2 emissions in 2010 came from coal, 36% from oil, and 20% from natural gas. Governments are meeting next week in Bonn to prepare for the next major international climate conference to be held in Durban at the end of the year. Denmark did that with Wind Power and now most of their energy comes from wind rather than oil, natural gas, or coal. If our country is going to spend money like a drunk sailor we should have spent it on building renewable energy power plants like Wind and Geothermal. Now Im starting to smell a "crock of Shit" from GM.
