Although Black Rock City probably has the worst air in the west during its brief annual existence, it is where I had my first electric transport epiphany. Their Rechargeit.org campaign really makes the connections between renewable power and plug-in cars.

Norwegian electric vehicle manufacturer Think Global has teamed with Ener1, one of its battery partners, to make a significant breakthrough in the Japanese market. It was initially developed for the Think City electric car - a three-door, two-seat electric vehicle that is powered by a 30kW electric motor.
