Chrysler has the market locked-up for anyone needing a seven passenger vehicle that can go a very long way on a tank of fuel. Chrysler calls it a “multipurpose vehicle,” but we will stick with modern minivan. The only minivan with a plug. If Chrysler had their way, you will see it more as a multi-purpose vehicle than a minivan.

If you are one of those “I will never drive a minivan” type of persons, please keep reading. When Clean Fleet Report first reviewed the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid in 2017, it was the only electrified minivan on the market. But the landscape has changed since 2017 as the 2021 Toyota Sienna minivan is now a hybrid.

Mothers are driving the kids, the dog, and lots of stuff around town and there haven’t been a lot of electric minivans. Many EVs are made for the luxury market, which is more traditionally men.”
