Striking thing, this electric SUV-cum-wagon. If you want to keep the tyre mobility kit and power cable bags in the boot, this also eats into space. If you build a car as a "kit car" with no real factory, then yes, it will never be an economic success. Blending the MPG of SUVs and small cars understates the real consumption and rewards automakers for building gas hogs and unsafe micro cars which makes people want to buy "safe" gas hogs. The EV1s failure was a failure of Management.
