US wind generation fell in 2023 for the first time since the 1990s

In the West North Central states – Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota – it dropped by 8%. Wind generation decreased the most in the upper Midwest.
