Hyundai opened a hotel powered by its IONIQ 5 all-electric vehicle. Hyundai Hotel is a collaboration between the Korean automaker and broadcast/critic Grace Dent. It is unclear which battery option powers Hyundai Hotel. Hyundai stated that V2L could supply up to 3.6 Hyundai Ioniq 6 preorders hit record number.

The UK also hopes to connect more and more EVs to the electricity grid to share power at peak times, in something called vehicle to grid charging (V2G). This will allow the grid to draw renewable energy from cars and vans which are plugged in, with their batteries replenished when energy is cleaner at off-peak times.

More renewable energy sources are being added to the UK grid all the time and it takes less energy to produce renewable electricity (and it’s a much cleaner process) than extracting and cracking crude oil to make petrol, while most new electric cars are packed with clever technology which makes then even more environmentally friendly.
