The original Honda Insight beat it, but it needed a gasoline-electric hybrid powertrain plus a lot of cutting-edge aerodynamic and weight-reduction tricks to pull it off.

In its second generation, the 2024 Toyota Mirai makes electricity onboard to drive its electric motor.

Those lucky enough to live in California have the opportunity to own one of the nicest electric cars on the road.

Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc. The station is a collaborative effort between Toyota, Air Products, Shell, South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) and the Department of Energy (DOE). As landowner, Toyota leases the land to Shell for a nominal fee. Shell and Toyota will work together to populate the learning center.
