Last week, Ford introduced a new Mustang Mach-E police concept car in the United Kingdom. The initial concept is a demonstrator Mustang Mach-E Standard Range AWD (all-wheel drive). Subject to testing of this model, Ford is planning to offer Extended Range version of its RWD (rear-wheel drive) and AWD versions.

London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC) is using its extended-range electric taxi as the basis for a new van. Called the VN5, it's currently available to order, with deliveries of right-hand drive vehicles for the United Kingdom scheduled to begin.

Opel and Europcar have agreed to introduce the Opel Ampera extended range electric vehicle ( earlier post ) as a rental car throughout Europe.
