Drivesolar.org has compiled a list of the 42 different plug-in hybrid and electric vehicle models on display at the Frankfurt International Motor Show as well as their location on the exhibit floor as a convenience for visitors. The Fisker Karma plug-in extended range electric vehicle ( earlier post ) made its public driving debut over the weekend, 19 months after being introduced as a concept. The Fisker Karma can reach 60 mph (97 km/h) in six seconds and has a top speed of 125 mph (201 km/h).

The Fisker Karma Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) ( earlier post ) will make its public driving debut during the Rolex Monterey Historic Automobile Races on 15 August, 19 months after being unveiled as a concept car. It will be the first time a PHEV has appeared on track at the event. 260 hp (194 kW) Ecotec engine from GM.
