In Jawor (Poland), a new CO 2 -neutral engine plant is being built. Almost all electrical consumers in production—computers, industrial drives, robots and production technologies, hall lighting and so on—already require direct current. This ensures a reliable power supply even in fluctuating grids.

Lightning Hybrids , a maker of hydraulic hybrid systems for medium- and heavy-duty trucks and buses ( earlier post ), released initial results from emissions testing conducted by an independent testing facility in Colorado of two medium-duty trucks upfitted with the Lighting Hybrids system.
