Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Danish government regarding the popularization of the i-MiEV electric vehicle (EV) in Denmark. Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) and the government of Thailand agreed to start joint study for fleet testing of electric vehicles (EV). MMC, through its local producer and distributor Mitsubishi Motors Thailand (MMTh), will begin initiatives for future market introduction of the i-MiEV.

Electric vehicles have many benefits over traditional gasoline-powered cars, including lower emissions, cheaper running costs and (often) government incentives. Lower emissions. While battery production for electric cars does produce some emissions , these emissions are dwarfed by the emissions produced by gasoline-powered vehicles.

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) has delivered the first 50 i-MiEV new-generation electric vehicles (EV) out of 507 units scheduled to be provided to the Estonian government. These first fifty i-MiEVs mark the beginning of delivery of the largest single order ever taken to date for the i-MiEV.

The announcement coincides with the first stop on a coast-to-coast tour of Nissan’s EV Prototype, a vehicle that’s powered by Nissan’s lithium-ion battery pack and zero-emission electric motor.
