Though the extended Chrysler K Family had many members (including minivans and Maseratis ) and stayed in production deep into the 1990s, there were just five true K models sold in the United States: the Plymouth Reliant, Dodge Aries, Dodge 400, Dodge 600 and Chrysler LeBaron (though not all the LeBarons and 600s were genuine Ks).

One will be a PHEV version of the new Chrysler Town & Country minivan to be introduced in 2016; the second will be a PHEV version of a new full-size crossover vehicle to be introduced in 2017. FCA will launch a PHEV minivan in 2016 to comply with ZEV requirements. Several mild hybrid applications will come to market shortly thereafter.

While it’s not as legendary of a nameplate as other icons of motoring, the Pathfinder was once a rugged body-on-frame SUV that could go just about anywhere, it’s now a minivan without the utility of a minivan. Engine power is adequate but it consumes nearly double the fuel of a Toyota Sienna. These are my worst of the year.
