For increased recharging, there is an “L” button on the gear selector wheel. The Escape PHEV does not come with a 480V DC Fast Charge option. Volvo has some of the most aggressive goals when it comes to brand-wide electrification, and the new C40 Recharge is a big step in its electric charge towards zero emissions. Its official name is the Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric, and it’s available as either a single motor or dual motor (the latter is called the Twin).

Kia Sportage Hybrid: Two new FWD models priced at $45,950 and $55,420 plus ORCs. There is no spare tyre, but there is a repair kit. Prices for its four model AWD range of PHEVs ranges from $57,290 to $71,790 plus ORCs. Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. They both have a 60 litre fuel tank.

There’s no spare tyre just a mobility kit. Unlike the other E-GMP vehicles we are familiar with in Australia – the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and the Kia EV6 – the GV60 does not feel like it has acres of interior space. Plug into 230V AC at home and the GV60 will take about 35 hours to recharge from 10 to 100 percent. Just saying….

For the batteries to go add range, the approximate times would be: 120V (Level 1) 4 miles per hour 240V (Level 2) 39 miles per hour, Full charge in 7 hours DC Fast Charging 100 miles in 30 minutes. Additional safety features are a tire pressure monitoring system, a tire inflator kit, keyless push button on/off and OnStar.
