The management of the project is being handled by Ricardo. There is a continual drive within the auto industry for low carbon vehicle technologies.

The flywheel is downsized to give a continuum between shift of gears, else unlike a ICE engine, when you take your leg off the pedal, the motor goes zero torque when you are re-engaging gears. The motor is a 4 kW brush DC motor. The torque delivery is superb, thanks to the DC motor. The pack weighs 60 kg.
