Toyota Transport, the automaker’s in-house vehicle transportation trucking company, is using its first car hauler that runs on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). The CNG truck was commissioned by Toyota and designed and built in a joint collaboration with Peterbilt and Cottrell, Inc., the truck and trailer manufacturers.

Built for Honda by Peterbilt Motors Company, the EPA Smartway-certified Model 386 hybrid truck is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by almost 45 tons per year, as compared to its diesel counterpart.
