The Corporation will transform its fleet to non-emitting transportation, with commitments to reach a 50% electric fleet by 2030 and 100% by 2040. Canada Post is looking to purchase a limited quantity of electric vehicles for the purpose of carrying out a pilot involving field trials of vehicles in an operational setting.

ComEd will replace end-of-life internal combustion vehicles with plug-in hybrid and fully electric vehicles, reducing fuel and maintenance costs and creating savings that will be passed on to customers. More than 200 of its vehicles have electric hybrid or plug-in hybrid electric systems and another 10 are all-electric vehicles.

Volvo to go all electric by 2030 – Volvo announced that its entire car line-up will be fully electric by 2030 and joins GM, JLR, Ford Europe, and other automakers in stating their goals or “aspirations” (in the case of GM) – to end production of gas-powered vehicles by 2030 or 2035 depending on the OEM.
