According to the Department for Business, the average cost for standard electricity in the UK in 2020 was 17.2p/kWh. That rate would give the LEAF a cost of 17.2 * 24 to drive 100 miles. The solar panels attach to the roof and convert solar light into electrical energy. The total cost of the installation was around £7500.

Going back to our formula we will first need to convert our kilowatt value to watts so we have 10,800 * 1000 = 10,800,000 watts needed from the source. You could leave Los Angeles and drive to Baker, stop and have a meal while the car recharges, and have plenty of juice to make it to your hotel in Vegas.

A couple of drawbacks to consider might be the capitalization costs of building these stations and the batteries that they would have to have in stock. Line breaks and paragraphs are automatically converted — no need to use or tags. You could sit in your vehicle while the operation takes place. Battery swapping has its critics.
