LGES stated in an ESG Report 2021 that it is working on converting all its manufacturing sites to RE100, including those located in South Korea, North America, Europe, China, etc. In 2020, LGES reported a conversion rate of 33% across its business sites. The initiative is called RE100 or “Renewable Electricity 100%”.

Researchers in South Korea are suggesting two new carbon-dioxide-utilized Gas-to-Liquids processes (CUGP) to increase the overall efficiency of conventional Fischer-Tropsch GTL.
