The stimulus package is designed to address the recession and in the short term people were anxiously awaiting two key components of the plan: clarification on the details behind “ grants in lieu of tax credits ” and awards of loan guarantees by the DOE from section 1705. Is tax equity dead? Cap and Trade Disappointment.

We’ve got big solar coming and big wind too, but those projects are not built yet and neither are the transmission lines to connect them to the grid. Seems like a perfect use for some stimulus money, don’t it? Clearly the Creative Greenius has to take personal responsibility and do something.

The treasure chest was cleverly disguised in the form of Federal stimulus money from the ARRA, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. But snatching victory from the jaws of defeat – like a last second Derek Fisher three pointer at the buzzer – as I discovered from Brian Gitt, is the infusion of ARRA stimulus money.

The dots that other folks were failing to even see, already looked pre-connected to me - like those incredibly real artificial Christmas trees with the lights already set in place and ready to plug-in. is using federal stimulus money to kick-start their program and they’re going to be rolling out a large program countywide.

And I felt a kindred connection with him after reading about his experiences putting solar PV on his roof. Also Tax Collector, Auditor & Controller. He’s also the County Tax Collector and the County Controller and the County Auditor. Rod wasn’t the only person I met at this conference who I enjoyed talking with.
