The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) and Verizon announced that Verizon has replaced 234 of its existing gasoline-powered vans with hybrid-electric vans for use in New York City. We thank NYSERDA for their partnership in helping to make this happen.

Micro-mobility company Helbiz is exploring the electrification of its fleet with Lightning eMotors. Following the completion of the current pilot program, Helbiz plans to deploy Lightning Electric Ford Transit 350HD vans throughout Miami and Washington DC to manage its intra-urban operations.

Beginning in September, six Navistar eStar all-electric, zero-emission trucks ( earlier post ) will be part of Coca-Cola’s growing fleet of alternative fuel vehicles (AFV) in North America; the AFV fleet will surpass 750 units by the end of this year. The new eStar trucks will be deployed in San Francisco, New York City, Washington, D.C.
