The high pressure portion of this off-gas (both high- and low-pressure gas is generated) is supplied via a dedicated pipeline to a hydrogen plant located on Jurong Island. That being said, even a car that derives its energy from coal power plants would be far more clean. excluding coal power in china. Neutral who? @ Some cars have them built-in, and they produce electricity too. Is this the Zune HD?

The electric grid is the most advanced energy-distribution network ever created and is constantly only a few feet away from us (far more ubiquitous than gas/ethanol/hydrogen stations). Electric engines are emissions free (and quiet). As a civilization, we have committed ourselves to electricity and we must make cleaner electricity.

Renewables That Even Coal-Based Utilities Can Love. So while my car is powering the great city during the day how will I have juice to drive home at the end of the day? Volt like hybrids are the intermediate future between hydrogen or fast charging electric cars. Denmark did that with Wind Power and now most of their energy comes from wind rather than oil, natural gas, or coal. A simple, clean, efficient EV that wont run out of juice because of its on-board gas generator.
