With the revision of its Corsa range, the Vauxhall hopes the supermini will sell more sub-125g CO2 cars than any other model range in the UK. While the leading green light will be the new 95PS diesel ecoFLEX model which achieves 76.3mpg combined and 98g/km of C02, the entire petrol range will be now more economical, yet more powerful.

With two Electric cars, at the time a Nissan Lean and Mitsubishi Outlander, we use a considerable amount of electricity but not much petrol, so already we were a reasonable way down the less CO2 road. Tons of CO2. . Inverter: This is the most important bit of kit. Help with reducing our carbon footprint.

While the MX-30 Electric’s now been discontinued, head to Mazda’s website and the petrol-powered MX-30 M Hybrid (which is the mildest hybrid known to man), quite comically, costs less than those ex-demo MX-30 Electrics. A petrol MX-30 Astina’s over $46,000 drive-away. Pretty generous.

They will buy a car and rent or lease the battery and the cost of leasing the battery will be the same as, or less than, the cost theyre paying today for petrol. The resulting fuel efficiency improvements mean lower CO2 emissions and less fossil fuel consumption and, therefore, less pollution. "People wont buy a full car.

If you build a car as a "kit car" with no real factory, then yes, it will never be an economic success. Theyre not trying to send men to the moon, theyre building an ELECTRIC CAR that uses a petrol motor they already make charging batteries supplied by LG all bolted into a vehicle platform they also already have in production.
