The stimulus package is designed to address the recession and in the short term people were anxiously awaiting two key components of the plan: clarification on the details behind “ grants in lieu of tax credits ” and awards of loan guarantees by the DOE from section 1705. And what’s working for the Greenius and Mrs. Greenius will work for the rest of America, even the little brain people who aren’t sure if climate change is man-made or not and probably even the Stepford brainwashed pod people who think Al Gore is a bad man. Not when we can take such simple, easy steps to fight back instead.

Seems like a perfect use for some stimulus money, don’t it? We’ve already got AB 811 in place to give us low interest loans for solar we can pay off as property tax assessments , but very few cities have the money to fund the program. Clearly the Creative Greenius has to take personal responsibility and do something.

The treasure chest was cleverly disguised in the form of Federal stimulus money from the ARRA, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. But snatching victory from the jaws of defeat – like a last second Derek Fisher three pointer at the buzzer – as I discovered from Brian Gitt, is the infusion of ARRA stimulus money.

My Greenius vision sees billions of dollars pumped into California in good paying jobs, in new clean energy power production, in new industries, and in all the tax revenue that comes with that growth. And when it comes to a sense of urgency on climate change, well lets just say I saw no physical sign that Ted is out of his coma yet.
