In fact back in 2010 that’s why the County of Los Angeles Health Department gave our South Bay Bicycle Coalition (SBBC) a $250,000 grant.

US Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx joined President Barack Obama to announce that $600 million will be made available to fund transportation projects across the country under a sixth round of the US Department of Transportation’s Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery ( TIGER ) competitive grant program.

To gain a LEED point for future EV charging plans, a project must: Make 10% of all parking spaces (or at least 6 spaces) EV Ready. LEED can be applied to newly designed, built, or renovated commercial buildings, homes, neighborhoods, and even entire cities. Make sure they use regionally standard EV connectors.
