Land Rover EV conversion packs in-wheel motors, weighs same as original

The Defender is the first in a series of “Reborn Electric: Icons” conversions, according to a Bedeo press release. Prior to its current U.K. Very few Endurance trucks were built, however.

Roskill forecasts increasing dependence of Li market on batteries; switch from portable electronics to hybrids

The majority of American consumers surveyed (58%) expect an electric vehicle to recharge its battery in two hours or less, and nearly one in four Americans (23%) expect a 30-minute charge time. Chinese consumers appear the most willing to pay a price premium, but even still, 44% indicate they will not pay anything extra.
