Not all succeed as talk is cheap, actions are tough, and many don’t do so well following through. As the luxury division of the Hyundai Group (Genesis, Hyundai and Kia) it has gone from two models in 2015 to eight in 2023. Genesis is on schedule to have 100+ dealers across the country in the coming years.

There’s also a fair number of used EVs under a year old or as dealer ex-demos with heavy discounts over RRP. Dedicated city cars with cheap-feeling cabins, but rarer than a Pagani Zonda on our shores. A bit of haggling will drop that price further – dealers will probably play ball to shift ’em.

I say apparently as a PR person with Stellantis, the parent company of Jeep, stated the following to me in a January 18 email: I can tell you that it is true, we were the best selling plug-in hybrid SUV last year in the US. credit off the the cap cost makes it a real cheap lease on 53k Jeep. Kia Niro EV review: It was only in 2021 that Kia introduced the Niro nameplate to Australia. Instead, it was more about dipping a toe in the electrified water and getting the Kia dealer network ready or the EV onslaught. So instead it’s hybrid and EV tech for Kia’s new entry-level electrified SUV.
