Interestingly enough, the Automotive Class is "into" the study of hybrids at this time. along with a 110-v AC opportunity charge provided as well. Particularly to the Plug-in Hybrids Electric Vehicle (PHEV) like the Toyota Prius before them as well as converting internal combustion engines into pure Electrics!

Quicke sidenote: PHEV3A as an acronym now encompasses the Tour de AZ: "Spirit of DC" Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle All Around Arizona (PHEV3A) EVducational Tour (tho it could change, depending on sponsorship to AAA Tour de AZ, or even eTour de AZ). Maybe the "Spirit" can grab an opportunity charge from a common 110-volt AC outlet.
