About CalCars Plug-In Hybrids FAQ How to Get a PHEV Where PHEVs are Carmakers Say. Conversions are mostly for the Prius, with a few for the Ford Escape/Mercury Mariner hybrid SUVs. The nonprofit CalCars does conversions to demonstrate new designs and provide a platform for different batteries; we dont sell conversions.

Porsche 914 EV Conversion

I find out this morning from Ross Cunniff (who also recently completed the 914 AC kit), that he has had ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS with his CCPower DC-DC converter. Since I finished the first kit, Electro Auto didn't want to replace my unit because they wanted me to find out more information before I simply blew up another one.

By Atul Gopal The PluginIndia team went on an electric car drive using the Tata Tigor EV. This will show how Electric cars can be practical and more enjoyable on a highway ride! No pantry car though. If not, then at least try to get the Nano back - that is a car which is screaming out to be electrified. 5,000 upwards.
