If you ever wanted an electric SUV that looked straight out of a Star Wars movie (other than Tesla’s Cybertruck), BYD has just the vehicle for you. BYD’s Fang Cheng Bao brand unveiled its new Super 3 electric SUV concept Tuesday, which has a rugged “interstellar chariot” design. Unlike the Boa 5, the Super 3 will be 100% electric.

US chip-making giant NVIDIA is expanding ties with several Chinese automakers, including BYD , as the race for the best software and features heats up. BYD will use NVIDIA’s Drive Thor to power its next-gen EV fleet. Building upon its existing collaborations, BYD is going from the car to the cloud.

Global EV leader BYD believes new energy vehicles, including EVs and PHEVs, have entered the “knockout round” with gas-powered cars. BYD plans to more than double its overseas sales this year, as it aims for one million in 2025. We reported earlier this month that BYD looks to crush gas-powered car sales with its newest platform.

Kia launched the EV5 in China with starting prices of around $20,700 (149,800) in November to rival Tesla’s Model Y and low-cost EVs from market leader BYD. The EV3 and EV4 were both expected to begin rolling out by the end of 2024, but that may no longer be the case.
