One of China’s most recent mid-stream deals included building a pipeline from Iran to Pakistan , which is being built despite objections from the U.S. The stated reason though, isn’t to satisfy China’s energy consumption, but to help alleviate Pakistan from its current energy problems.

On a visit to Pakistan with his parents, 7-year-old Aadeel Akhtar met a girl his age who was missing her right leg. Twenty-one years later, in 2015, the IEEE member founded Psyonic , which designs and builds advanced, affordable artificial limbs. He earned a bachelor's degree in biology in 2007 from Loyola University in Chicago.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering in 1958 from the University of Bristol , in England. He worked at the university at the time of his death. where he continued his networking work.

He worked in bookstores and then started a fashion business with his friends while planning his escape from Iran through Pakistan in 1982.
