Aston Martin is considering a rugged, high-powered super-4×4 to rival the Mercedes G-Class and Land Rover Defender , our sister publication Autocar UK can reveal. Autocar UK has heard that a build run capped at 2,500 units is possible for the Aston 4×4, in a bid to preserve exclusivity.

Set to ramp up in 2028, the Ontario hub could potentially build up to 240,000 EVs per year, and see that as the demand for Honda EVs builds, they’d be American-made.

Hyundai plans to change the name of the electric SUV from IONIQ 7 to IONIQ 9 as it looks to build off Kia’s success with the EV9. Although Hyundai’s first three-row electric SUV debuted as the SEVEN concept at the 2021 LA Auto Show, reports suggest it will now go by the IONIQ 9. Can Hyundai match its success so far?
