The company also announced plans to reduce usage another 25% on a per-vehicle basis by 2016.

These include making DNA microarrays for genomics, creating electrical traces for printed circuit boards, and building 3D-printed structures. Each drop hitting the paper creates a dot, and moving the printhead back and forth builds up an image. Future uses could include personalized medicine and development of advanced batteries.

HEV - The current generation of production Hybrids are 100% gas fueled vehicles with a few EV tricks like Regen Braking and no wasteful Idling. Electric Vehicles not only keep our Earth cleaner, their use preserves the earths natural resources. Our goal: Get car makers to build Bettah PHEVs than we can convert ourselves.

Chrysler isnt the first to realize that building an EV off of a Lotus platform makes for an incredibly fast and fun experience (see also: Tesla Roadster ) We escaped from the dark confines of Cobo Hall onto a decently sunny day and cruised along the river and past the Ren Cen, gunning the Circuit whenever possible.

I imagine there will be tax incentives to build green generators when were at that stage. like i said in the first place, for me, this makes me think of one step in the right direction and makes me think of a greener cleaner future. Install a Mr. Fusion on the back of the cars and everyone starts driving reeeeeal slow and careful.

V2G helps solve the major problem that demand for electricity is high during the day when everything from industrial plants to air conditioning is running full blast and then excess electricity is wasted at night. Unfortunately, this conference focused primarily on setting a cap on carbon emissions and providing financial aid to developing countries to build capacities to adapt to the negative impacts of climate change. Do we really want to be remembered as the generation that wasted another decade? It’s about time we changed course.
