BYD, a company struggling to sell its e6 electric crossover in its home market, has decided it won''t be sold at all to private customers in the U.S. Instead, says the ChinaEV blog, the e6 will be a fleet-only vehicle in the U.S, BYD, which stands for ''Build Your.'

The wait will soon be over for US customers eager to get their hands on BYD Auto’s e6 electric crossover. The Chinese manufacturer that is part-owned by Warren Buffet will introduce a limited number of the vehicles in the US next year according to BYD chairman Wang Chuanfu in an interview with the Wall Street Journal.
