Tesla is currently being investigated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) after several of its electric cars crashed into stationary emergency vehicles while Autopilot was engaged. They are dying because cars crash into them while they’re parked on the side of the road.

In spite of Teslas lead in getting a car to market, it is expected to sell fewer cars than Fisker, Omotoso says. The Tesla Roadster can go 244 miles on a charge, but recharging it takes hours. JD Power estimates that Tesla will sell 500 to 800 cars next year, while Fisker Automotive is expected to sell more than 10,000. [1]
