GM is bringing back the Hummer brand as an EV within the GMC brand. For our discussion, Saturn dealers were the delivery and service point for GM’s aborted first electric car, the EV1. Perhaps the first electric sub-brand was BMW’s i series, which included the i3 hatchback and i8 plug-in hybrid sports coupe.

BMW, Mercedes, and Volkswagen have all not shipped certain electric models to the US and Toyota is shipping the majority of their RAV4 Prime PHEVs to Europe and Asia. And many higher end models from Tesla, Lucid, GMC, Rivian, and others will approach 400 or more miles. That would still leave eight automakers without an EV.
