Unfortunately, hydrogen refueling infrastructure is severely lacking in Europe today, putting at risk the development of this innovative zero-emission solution, the organizations said. In addition, incentive schemes for renewable and low-carbon hydrogen mobility are much needed to make it affordable.

The CRP team continues to hold regular conference calls and face-to-face meetings and expects to be able to provide updated progress reports as new information becomes available. The team includes 13 members: Audi, BMW, Chrysler/Fiat, Daimler, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar Land Rover, Mazda, PSA, Renault and Toyota.

But apparently Scotto could not convince the folks at Mini that Torrance was worthy.

We also mined or extracted and burned coal and oil, releasing millions of years of stored solar energy indiscriminately, altering Earth’s climate. Using fossil derived natural gas, which is a hydrocarbon, means that CO 2 is generated—in direct opposition to our goals for the climate. The BMW-i3 and the Renault Kangoo are examples.
