Hyundai Motor Group have introduced a novel snow chain that’s integrated directly into the tire. Korean automakers Hyundai and Kia state that the technology relies on “shape memory alloy modules that are located inside the wheel and tire.” Keeping snow chains on hand is never a bad idea. Hyundai says it’s working on that.
