The propulsion system consists of twin electric motors, one on the front and one on the rear axle, powered by a 78 kWh battery that can be fast-charged to 80% in about 40 minutes. It offers an anticipated range of around 420 km (261 miles), which is expected to improve over time via over-the-air software updates.

Polestar says that the new Polestar 2 is the first electric car to compete in the marketplace around the Tesla Model 3, with the range starting at a guide price of €39,900 (US$45,177). Maxus is presenting a range of zero emission EV80 battery electric vans at the 67 th IAA Commercial Vehicles show in Hannover. Under the new agreement with SAIC Maxus, LeasePlan will offer operational leasing solutions for the fully-electric EV80 large panel van to business customers across continental Europe.

The launch model, with a 78 kWh battery pack and two motors providing all-wheel drive, is the high end of a range that will eventually include less expensive models with only front-wheel-drive and/or a lower-capacity battery, at prices in the low 40s. Where it falls down is its EPA-rated range: a mere 208 miles. Android above all else.

Their initial idea was that garaged vehicles would have a two-way computer-controlled connection to the electric grid, which could receive power from the vehicle as well as provide power to it. Last April, Hyundai delivered 25 bidirectionally capable long-range Ioniq 5s to We Drive Solar. This is good for the grid.

Canoo’s 200-Mile Electric Pickup is Compact Truck With A Full-Size Bed – Canoo (GOEV), the California-based EV start-up revealed its electric pickup with an estimated 200-mile range. Alpha estimates 250-275 miles of range, and 0-60 mph acceleration in 6.2 – March 14, via MotorAuthority.
