Antelope Valley adds 16 more BYD electric buses to fleet

Antelope Valley Transit Authority (AVTA) is growing its battery-electric fleet with the purchase of 10 K11M 60-foot articulated buses and six K7M 30-foot buses. AVTA, which serves northern Los Angeles County and portions of southern Kern County, was the first transit agency in North America to make the decision to go 100% battery-electric.

Anaheim Transportation Network orders 40 BYD electric buses; 57% electric fleet by 2020

The Anaheim Transportation Network has awarded an order for 40 battery-electric buses to BYD. The ATN fleet order will increase the number of BYD electric buses the agency can deploy to serve one of the nation’s busiest tourism and employment regions.
