With a renewable electricity mix, that increases to about 50%. The electric motor and transmission unit are located in direct proximity to the driven rear axle.

Decided to completely ban the sale of new gasoline-powered cars in California from 2035, when all new vehicles must be an electric or plug-in hybrid. This provision will not affect the regular use of Californians who already own gasoline vehicles. Recently, the California Air Resources Board voted to adopt a new regulation.
