While there’s a chance the United States might someday see those versions go on sale, we recommend holding your breath. The focus was in particular on electrical machinery, power electronics and various technologies for traction batteries. The largest share of PHEVs were found between a vehicle curb weight of 1500 kg (3,300 lbs) and 2000 kg (4400 lbs).
