From the outside, there is little to tell a basic Ford XL ICE. F-150 from the electric Ford PRO F-150 Lightning. But when you pop the Lightning’s hood, you find the internal combustion engine has gone missing. The Lightning’s software suite may even be larger than its ICE counterpart (Ford will not confirm this).

While other national and international organizations have been supportive at government hearings, they havent yet begun to advocate for PHEVs. Fuel cell cars should be plug-in hybrids so that the fuel cell is used only for extended range, and the fuel cell stack and hydrogen storage can be smaller.
