Faurecia acquires Amminex to accelerate efficient NOx reduction for passenger and commercial vehicles

At the recent Paris Motor Show, Faurecia showed the Amminex solution for commercial vehicles, as well as an ASDS system in a new format for passenger cars. In increasing its participation to 91.5%, Faurecia expects to intensify the development of this technology for both commercial vehicles and passenger cars.

SAIC introduces large electric panel van in Europe: Maxus EV80

SAIC Mobility Europe, a division of China’s largest vehicle manufacturer, SAIC, is introducing the Maxus light commercial vehicle brand. It is available initially to fleets in France, Germany, Austria and Benelux, with other markets to follow soon. It is offering these large panel vans from its sites across Germany and Austria.

Amminex introduces hardware retrofit for NOx control on older diesel cars; surpassing Euro 6

BlueFit comprises two key elements: a scaled-down version of the ASDS (Ammonia Storage and Delivery System) that is already used on commercial vehicles ( earlier post ) and an SCR catalyst. The ASDS is installed in the spare wheel well and the SCR catalyst is fitted to the exhaust pipe under the car.
