As COVID-19 didn’t spread to the USA as early as these markets, quarantine only came into force in specific parts of the country during March. Some models performed better than others.

Orocobre Limited is commissioning their Olaroz project in Argentina, and is currently at 68% of its 17,500 TPA full capacity.

This positive trend was driven by the launch of the Atlas SUV and the new Tiguan in the USA (+21.8%). There were sizeable increases in Brazil (+110.5%) and Argentina in particular. In total, 406,500 vehicles (+6.3%) were handed over to Chinese customers in September. up on the previous year.
