Smith Electric Vehicles is unveiling a new telemetry system specifically engineered for commercial electric vehicles at the Commercial Vehicle Operator Show 2010, Birmingham, England, 13 to 15 April. A battery powered, all electric utility truck with an aerial device has been produced by Smith Electric Vehicles US Corporation in association with Altec Industries Inc. The company will provide test data to Smith Electric and Altec for the creation of the production model. The full battery recharge takes six-eight hours.
