Sweden’s plugin electric vehicles took almost 60% of the auto market in March, up from 55.6% March’s combined plugin share of 59.9% plugin hybrids (PHEVs). Sweden’s Best Selling BEVs Tesla’s Model Y was (by far) the best selling BEV in March, and in fact the best selling of any auto, with a massive 3,202 units.

Sweden’s auto market saw plugin electric vehicle share continue to grow strongly in December, reaching a record 74.6%, up from 60.7% December’s combined plugin share of 74.6% plugin hybrids (PHEVs). Full year 2022 plugin share stood at 56.1%, up from 45.0% Sweden’s Best Selling BEVs.
