Sweden’s plugin electric vehicle share reached 55.7% Full electrics grew share strongly, whilst plugin hybrids lost share slightly. April’s combined plugin result of 55.7% plugin hybrids (PHEVs). Sweden’s HEV share dropped YoY from 11.5% Diesels also dropped share YoY, from 14.1% year on year (YoY).

Sweden’s plugin electric vehicles took almost 60% of the auto market in March, up from 55.6% March’s combined plugin share of 59.9% plugin hybrids (PHEVs). Norway’s plugin electric vehicles took 91.1% The slight dent in share came from a drop in plugin hybrid volume, against overall market growth. March’s combined plugin result of 91.1% plugin hybrids. Even adding in diesel-only vehicles, the combined ICE-only share was at a record low of 2.7%, from 5.3% year on year.

Sweden’s auto market saw plugin electric vehicle share continue to grow strongly in December, reaching a record 74.6%, up from 60.7% December’s combined plugin share of 74.6% plugin hybrids (PHEVs). Full year 2022 plugin share stood at 56.1%, up from 45.0% Sweden’s Best Selling BEVs.
