Magna to engineer and produce new off-road EV for INEOS Automotive in 2026

Magna has been awarded a contract to manufacture an all-new INEOS Automotive electric off-road vehicle, expected to start production in Graz, Austria in 2026. In addition to manufacturing, Magna will also be responsible for the engineering of the complete vehicle.

MAN Truck & Bus exploring 2nd life, recycling strategies for traction batteries

The battery packs originate from the first field trial with battery-electric distribution trucks from MAN, which began in Austria in 2018 and lasted three years. For this purpose, around 120 truck battery packs with an energy content of 18.6 kWh per pack are being handed over to a storage system manufacturer.

DB Schenker expands its electric fleet with 36 new FUSO eCanter vehicles

With these latest vehicles, DB Schenker will become FUSO’s largest electric fleet customer with a total of 41 eCanter vehicles in daily operations. DB Schenker has already been using the FUSO eCanter in Berlin since 2018 delivering packaged goods in the city center.

Volkswagen Truck & Bus outlines roadmap for automated driving, connectivity, and alternative drive systems

MAN is already well on its way to developing an electric distribution truck, the eTGM, which is scheduled to go into series production in 2021. We plan to deliver the first nine fully electric trucks to our customers in Austria by the end of 2017 – including large supermarket chains, breweries and haulers.
